Fashion-led editorial at Villa Aurelia in Rome

editorial couple photo in front of Villa Aurelia in Rome

I can create fully editorial images. To be honest, I do love them. They are clean, smooth, elegant, stylish, and modern. Those images transpire fashion, style and refinement.
But I often feel that they miss the point. They are empty. Empty of emotions, soul, meaning.
They show. Beautifully. But they don’t tell.

This is why I don’t share many editorial images. I don’t connect to them.

Editorial workshops like this one have a very specific purpose to me: training myself and experimenting without the pressure of delivering. Exploring new techniques, approaches, and finding my voice. This one was very efficient in this process. It was a true wake-up call, actually. Realizing how disconnected I felt from this editorial approach. How I felt empty taking those photos. It was the starting point of a journey to reconnect to myself and my purpose.

That being said, I find them very pleasing to the eye, so why not show them here.
