The first time Lea and Elie contacted me, we spent over an hour on skype.
As with each of my couples, I took the time to learn a little bit more about them, their history, what brought them to where they are today.
They told me about their love, their years together, the proposal.
And then they told me about Scotland.
A country they fell in love with and lived in for a whole year. A country I'd dreamed of discovering for years. And especially the country where they were going to go on their honeymoon!
Then my brain clicked!
I had in mind to spend a week there in September with my darling, but nothing was confirmed yet. I offered to accompany them on part of the trip to do a day after session in Glencoe Valley in the highlands of Scotland.
Their response was not long in coming. They were more than ready to go! It was even a dream come true for them. And it was a good thing, because for me too!
So I booked my tickets and took my darling on a magical adventure in the Scottish mountains.
When we got there, everything was perfect. The weather like the country, the breathtaking scenery.
My lovers put on their wedding clothes they had worn just a week earlier for their D-day in Chamonix.
The rain, the mud, the rocks, nothing could stop them!
There followed a moment just out of time. A session full of gentleness, passion, tenderness, adventure, on a path leading to a magnificent waterfall in the Glencoe valley.
This session was an unforgettable experience for me, a real turning point in my career.
I hope that you will enjoy the images and that you will live a little of this moment with us.
